Superweek and Drinking similarities:
1)After both im dehyrated, hungry, and confused
2) both cost waaaaay to much money
3) my head always hurts the next morning
4) if you meet a girl doing either its probably not a good thing
5) its pretty easy to hurt yourself (walking into things/crashing a bike, its all the same)
6) its important to make sure you dont get arrested
7) if you follow Tim around its probably not the best idea

I finished 23rd today, the race had a large (80-90+) field with a good number of pros and foreighners, so it was fast to say the least.

I made the 3rd break away group with about 45 miles left, at the time there was a 10 man break and a follow group of 15 after them, my group caught the following 15 group then lost some people, so with two laps to go there were about 20-25 of us chashing 9 guys 4 mins up, so there was no chance in hell we were catching them.....i felt i was one of the strongest in my group and say a top 15 comming, but the heat (93 degrees-ish) had other plans, so i rode in with Paul Ellis from jelly belly for a heated sprint (not at all!)

After the race was when the fun began. I got really sick from the heat so that I couldnt stand, and I couldnt drink water because i would puke, which was awesome after 4:15 of racing hard, I couldnt see straight.....I think Tim Swain thought I was going to die.

I have been staying with an old Miami friend, Deanna who has been taking great care of me at her awesome pad in Milwaukee, shes a grad student at marquette university and makes awesome turkey meatloaf....thanks Deanna, I heart you.
